Puppy Process

My aim at Melbourne Bernese is to keep the wonderful temperament and unique beauty of the breed thriving with loving attention to their physical soundness. So we can ensure we are providing healthy and beautiful new family members.

Melbourne Bernese puppies are able to leave for their new home between 8-9 weeks of age. Upon leaving for their new home they have had worming done at week 2,4,6 and 8 weeks, they have had their 1st Vaccination with 6 week health check and a provided veterinarian health certificate. They are also provided with a puppy pack and Limited Registration Pedigree papers (NOT FOR BREEDING). They have been through the socialisation training, and I supply puppy food for the following 48 hours. All o ur puppies are placed in the loving care of adoptive families I have spoken with over the phone and met in person first *in the case of Covid 19 this may be approached in a different way due to restrictions and will be advised as we see fit *.

I welcome all enquiries from families or persons wanting a Bernese Mountain Dog companion through the website.

The questionnaire I send out upon your request helps me know what you as a potential adoptive parent/s are looking for some examples; male or female pup, markings, size and temperament. This form also helps me asses if the Bernese Mountain Dog is suited to your lifestyle. This form does not mean you get a puppy it just allows me to best match the puppy to the best family for them. Puppies really start to show their true nature around 6 weeks of age, there for no allocation of a puppy is done until AFTER they have each had their temperament test completed.

Once you have your new Melbourne Bernese Puppy I am hear to welcome your updates for life.

All my pups are raised on Frontier Pets https://frontierpets.com.au/?rfsn=6039974.46c09d
